Registration for the 2024 Edition closes on October 30, 2024

Since this is a small field marathon, we request that runners bring the following:

• Tracking Device: Please bring your own GPS-enabled tracking device (such as a Garmin watch, Apple Watch, or a phone with a running app) to record your run. The time of completion and run map must be shown to the race official to recieve an official time and Finisher Medal. Only 5Km fun runners are exempted as they will not have any official times or recieve Finisher Medals.

• Headlamp: Marathoners starting their race at 5:30 AM should bring a headlamp to navigate the early morning hours safely.

• Energy Drinks: If you require specific energy drinks during the race, please bring your own supply. 

• Bib Pins: Don’t forget to bring pins to secure your running bib.

These items will help ensure you have a comfortable and successful race experience.

Only participants who complete the official 42.2km , 21.1km or 10km distance as evidenced by the run map on their  running devices will receive the Finisher Medals.

All participants and the general public can purchase the Malabo Marathon T/Shirt at the cost of  USD 35

You can register for either the Single Occupancy Tour Package at USD 1,250 or the Double Occupancy Tour Package at USD 1,000 per person  by sending a mail to info@malabomarathon.com.

Above costs are early bird costs valid only till September15, 2024.  A mail sharing payment details will then be sent to you. Payment secures your spot

Both packages include the same amenities, such as breakfast, guided tours, and entry fees to attractions. The primary difference is whether you prefer a private room or are willing to share.

• Single Occupancy Tour Package: This option provides you with a private room at the National Hotel, Malabo. It’s ideal for participants who prefer privacy and personal space during their stay.

• Double Occupancy Tour Package: This option allows you to share a room with another participant. It’s a great choice for those who are traveling with a friend or who are comfortable sharing accommodations, offering a more budget-friendly alternative.

Registration and payment  for the 2024 marathon tour package closes on October 15, 2024
